With the buzz in Washington on “energy conservation” and “alternative energy”, Featherstone dedicated this website to finding earth-friendly products and services, to save energy through the use of leading edge technologies and to inform you of effective ways to reuse, repurpose and recycle items responsibly.
Our focus is to work with Federal and local Government, schools, municipalities, hospitals, colleges, universities, department stores, office buildings and other large energy users to implement these products and reduce overall electricity demand. Currently, the most effective application we have for saving energy is centered on the replacement of general-service fluorescent lighting with LED products. Not only are they more efficient, but they also last much longer and contain no harmful mercury. Our purpose of promoting LED technologies is that we believe it will make an immediate and significant difference in the amount of energy required for our daily living
Also included in our efforts is the development of a process by which we can increase additional energy efficiency through education and training programs. By providing the means to acquire a skill set through our program, it will encourage them to replicate and expand our efforts.
Our LED light tubes are representative of what the country needs to dramatically reduce daily energy consumption and reduce the carbon footprint associated with consuming electric power. In association with NewTek Energy Solutions and Henderson Certification Laboratories (HCL), we have developed the technology and have retained the right people to think outside of the box regarding new methods of achieving energy savings.
